We decided to honor our original wedding date by eloping. In Colorado we can marry ourselves so it will be just us two. We are thinking waking to local lake for ceremony then driveway/garage reception. I’m going to use some DIY decor I already made for our original planned wedding. I would love some ideas to help make it unique and special. Any ideas are appreciated!!

This sounds so intimate and beautiful. I love it. Candles will add so much romance to this and maybe you can even find a photographer that’s willing to do take a few photos! Best wishes.

Hi Sara! I love your idea and think it will be so special for the two of you!!
There's a lot that you can do with some candles, a few flowers, and the pictures you already have framed in your house! You can also make your own mini cake or cupcakes, and splurge on a special bottle of champagne.
