We DIY'd something like this:

I bought the macarons from BJ's ($16.99 for 32 macarons - they're not 5-star amazing but still pretty good, and I think Costco carries bulk macarons too) and the boxes from Oriental Trading. Per box cost was probably about $1.30 and a couple hours of my + my bridesmaids' time to assemble a day or two before the wedding.

Maybe purchase chocolate truffles in bulk and put 2 in a box with each guest’s name and table assignment on each box. Have an assistant of your month of coordinator directing guests to the escort cards table to make sure they grab them.
