Edible Arrangements?

Riley, on July 29, 2019 at 10:28 PM Posted in Planning 0 19
Are edible arrangements worth it/good? I was trying to find something unique and something that will not just be thrown around to get my Fiancé for our 4th anniversary. If not any ideas?

We just reached a year since we have been engaged and I actually got my fh a mini cake with our flavors in it. He loved it! What about something like that?

We are not married either. It was just a present to celebrate us having been engaged a full year.

They are good but too pricey for shapes fruit in my opinion lol I’d do a fancy dinner somewhere or a favorite activity!

Personally I dislike them. I won thr hygiene quality and its shaped fruit that costs a ridiculous amount. Personally, if you want fruit, I'd do it yourself! You could coat strawberries in chocolate and give those.

We got one when my dad died from his coworkers (so I have some weird associations with them) - the fruit was very tasty, but because it is cut so much (and very pretty) and it's already at peak, the fruit doesn't last very long. Plus, it doesn't fit easily in a fridge, so you're probably going to have to pull it apart almost immediately.

What about tickets to an event? For my birthday last year he got me tickets to the symphony, this year we're going to a revival performance of "Hello, Dolly!", and for our second wedding anniversary we went to see a baseball game (which we do semi-regularly, but we got better seats than we normally would, since it was a special occasion).

Next week will be a year being engaged and we're going out to eat. Get him something for the wedding maybe.Like for FH bday/ our 7th dating anniversary, last year I got him a prince charming Disney pin for him to wear during the wedding day and he bought me a Cinderella pin.

I also associate them with funerals. I think they cost too much and aren't as good as dipped strawberries from a professional candy maker. Tickets to a concert would be fun!

They are overpriced IMO. My coworkers got me one when I got a promotion and it was good but they charge a lot of money just to cut fruit. I would just take him out for a nice dinner for the same price.

I agree they are overpriced. They taste fine, but nothing more special than fruit from the store and chocolate covered strawberries. You might be better off going to the store and getting an assortment of fruits and could melt some chocolate and have fondue at home and movie night!

You can make it yourself for really cheap! My friends have done it before. It's easy.

Every one I have ever tried has been very good but they are also pretty expensive for fruit and very little chocolate.

Edible arrangements are fantastic but extremely expensive. You have to get the medium or large arrangement for it to be good. The small is just very underwhelming.

Hi Riley! I actually worked at edible arrangements for 7 years & I think they are good, but I'm not sure if they're worth it. Fruit is expensive + once you add the dipped chocolate it gets crazy. I think a chocolate dipped fruit box would be the way to go!

Or it's super easy to make "bacon roses" at home Smiley smile
