Dw/elope with local reception

So my fiancé and I want to get married in Jamaica.
We have both been married previously so we want to sort of elope. It wouldn’t be a secret like traditional elopements but it will just be us two.
We would like to come home and have a New Years Eve reception 2-4 days following the Jamaican wedding.I would like to be able to wear my dress and him wear his suit to the reception. Is this appropriate to have an event of this style? We aren’t inviting anyone to the wedding so then we weren’t sure. We do not want or expect any gifts. Would it be ok to have a “head table” with the people we would like to be in our bridal party? We really wanted to have the small private intimate beach wedding but to be able to celebrate with our friends and family.

I don't see any issue with it. In today's world, anything goes.
