I love ❤️ that song. But it seems like you’re not real happy with that choice. What kind of music do you two enjoy?

We love all types of music. I do like that song, we just don’t feel like it’s “the one” I was just hoping to find a song and say yep that’s the one, kind of like with the dress lol if that makes any sense. I know that probably sounds silly.

My dad and step mom's song was I don't know much but I know I love you that maybe all I need to know

If you’re open to country songs, The Rest of Our Life by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill is lovely and perfect for a first dance song!

Hi Christine! I don't know if it's originally a duet, but I think Falling Slowly would be a lovely first dance! It might be a tad too slow, but if you're having a DJ, I would ask about speeding it up just a fraction.

You could also dance to Come What May from Moulin Rouge. It's a little dramatic, but I think it's more in the vein of I'm Gonna Lose You. Are you looking for something with lyrics that suit you as a couple or are you just going for a general vibe?

Our situation is a little different, we were in love when we were younger and due to circumstances and distance were not able to be together and we lost touch and we both ended up getting married to someone else and of course divorced and many years later we found each other again and now it’s right. So we were looking for something that touched on that but it’s not the end of the world if we don’t find it. But I really do appreciate the help. 😊
