Dry ice effect. Yay or Nay?

I saw this photo and thought about incorporating dry ice to the reception for the first dance with my FH. It looks like you are dancing in a cloud, but also looks a bit scary. Can’t decide? Thoughts?

This is very helpful! Thank you for explaining it! It does sound like too much work and something else to worry about.

You all ladies are great! Thank you so much for the input and the info! It did not cross my mind about the extra work and few possible health risk factors!

I had to dance on stage with dry ice many times growing up. I slipped once. It can get slippery. Plus it reminds me of the 80s and 90s, back when I was dancing. Seems dated.

It’s cheesy to me, too. I guess if you have extra money to blow... our DJ offered this for $250!

I thought about it, but I decided I couldn't shell out so much money for a 3min dance.
The dry ice would get the hourly rate of a CEO 😂

I love it I thought about doing it too haha, but I feel like you have to have a very swanky venue/deco/dress to pull it off

    Nah.

I think the dance itself is what people should be focusing on, not dry ice.

It's not a bad idea. If you like it then go for it.

Regardless of what anyone else thinks what are your thoughts? If you like it and want a pic with it do it. Weddings are to yes legally marry the couple but receptions should be everything you both want to make this once in a lifetime event special for you both!

Yeah this seems to be a bit dramatic to me. Your first dance is already special because... it’s your first dance.
