Drop in mailbox or hand to postal person?

I know this is a very weird question, but I am concerned about loosing invitations. Did you just drop them in the box and hope for the best? Or did you hand to the post lady/man inside at the counter?

    Me to but I couldnt wait anymore. I got stuff I need to get done so I need the rsvps back lol

    Want to know something absolutely insane? We sent out save the dates to 100 people. UPS sent 4 different invites to the same person THREE TIMES. We put wax seals on them and they STILL DID NOT DELIVER THEM! Return address listed, names listed correctly, addresses listed correctly. How could they possibly do this??!
