I was open to try on any style. Being fluffy and cursed up top, I didn't want to narrow my choices. I just went with an open mind. Then I tried on a strapless gown and couldn't see over my boobs.

Then somehow, I ended up in my grandmas nightgown.

And finally, THE ONE!! WITH POCKETS!!

It took 4 appointments for me to find my dress, so there were a lot of really good ones that just weren’t THE one! I actually liked al of these, so it’s nice to give them some kind of purpose hahaha. I’m sure I have more that were COMPLETE rejects, but I’d have to dig! I tried on all these dresses when I was right on the verge of finding my dress...

#1 I really liked and it was everything I asked for but it was missing something that I wasn’t able to put my finger on
#2 I internet stalked and tried on during two different appointments because I was trying so hard to make myself be in love with it 🤦🏻‍♀️
#3 I was 100% convinced that this was my dress! (THAT TRAIN!!) Long story short, it was out of my budget, I went home to think and bargain hunt (mostly bargain hunt tho), called another shop that was going to give me 20% off, went to the shop to try it on again and order and fell head over heels for a different dress! Things have a funny way of working out sometimes!

I didn’t even take photos on my phone LOL my mom took all of these! tried on SOO many different styles, even destination dresses!! The first two are rejects you can already see in my face it’s a strong NO lol In the first one I hated how it was see through and the second one actually was a close one but it just wasn’t doing it.. it looked so plain to me, like I felt bridal but not exactly how I wanted to feel as a bride.. I did go back to it, because I felt like that is what I should pick since it’s what I see a lot of ladies wear on the special day, but I swear I felt like I was in a straight jacket 😂😂😂!! then behold the last 3 picks!!! That is THE ONE OMG!! Perfection!!! It had the wow factor but also the simplicity I wanted, the ability to move around and dance.. the train is to die for and I love it bustled up! I kept it on for like 30 minutes before being told to take it off loll but I still tried on different dresses to be 100% sure and I kept going back, I couldn’t stop thinking another it.. it had my name written all over it. It’s off the rack and the sample size so it’s a few sizes too big but even it being so big I knew it was the one.. it made all the other dresses I tried on inferior 😍

The "beetlejuice dress" made me laugh!!

I think these two are lovely dresses, but just not for me. The first one was strapless which did nothing for me, and the second one I HATED. Illusion necklines are not my thing personally. Funny thing is the skirt on the last one is the same skirt to the dress I ended up choosing!
