Dresses (How much is too much to spend?)

Depends on your budget. I personally wouldn't go over $500 but I'm pretty frugal.

One of my best friends from college got her dress at a thrift store for under $10. I don't know if you've ever watched "Say Yes to the Dress" but people spend house payments on dresses everyday. It's all about your budget and comfort level. Mine was a gift and I don't remember the exact price, but I think it came out to $2500.

No two brides have the same budget and priorities. It depends on what you personally can justify spending.


You're only going to wear it one day out of your life for a few hours. A small number only wear it for 30 minutes max and change into something else which is $$$.

I would say it depends on your comfort level of spending.
