Hi ladies! I'm newly engaged and am gearing up to start making some appointments to try on wedding dresses, but I just realized that I don't really have anyone to go with me. I don't have any super close girlfriends that I'd want to be there, and my mom lives across the country. Is it weird to go by yourself? Or am I overthinking it? TIA for any advice or opinions!

I was in the same situation & actually ended up being glad that I went alone! I did have the attendant at the bridal shop take pics so I could text my mom & ask her opinion. It made the process so much easier! It was a little intimidating at first but, once I was there & looking at the dresses, I forgot I was alone.

I think it's fine alone but I would not put a deposit down without talking to someone. Have you considered bringing FH? I know it's not traditional but it might be a special memory for you guys

Nope it's not weird! There are many posts on this that offer excellent advice.

I went dress shopping alone and I found my perfect dress. I did take lots of pics
