Dress Questions/votes

Hello ladies, I went dress shopping with my mom (Cissy) and my little sister (Kelsey) this past Sunday. We went to this place called, “The White Dress” in Newport Beach/Corona Del Mar, CA. These are some possible contenders. I’m going to check out another bridal shop in Orange, CA called, “Marry Me Bridal”. I’m excited. Cissy, Kelsey and my big sister (Kristin) are coming. Which ones do you guys like. I am having a traditional Catholic Wedding (no I don’t need to cover my shoulders) just want some opinions.

I loved both that’s the issue. 😂 Another reason why I’m going to check out one more bridal salon on Thursday 😃

These are both so beautiful and look amazing on you! I'm so conflicted lol. The first one is so elegant and classy to me that I think it would suit a traditional Catholic wedding well. But I absolutely love the lace in the second one, I think that one might be my favorite Smiley smile

They are both beautiful, but I'm partial to the lace. Daughter also shopped in OC. There's a Casablanca flagship store in Newport Coast that was wonderful (they'll also do all kinds of customization, if you like the bodice of one dress, but the skirt of another type thing since they manufacture their own dresses). Daughter almost went with a custom dress, but ultimately, daughter found exactly what she wanted at Pebbles Bridal in Placentia. They had a great selection, and do not require appointments. When we went on weekdays, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. (It doesn't look like much from the outside, it's in a strip mall, but once you're inside it's fine and they have a big selection. They also did a really nice job in-house on daughter's alterations.) Have fun! Dress shopping was one of our favorite parts of planning!

They're both very beautiful. I'm impartial to the first one, mainly for the pockets. My dress also had pockets and I used them all night

I’m also having a traditional catholic wedding and I like the first one. Are those trains cathedral length? IMO long trains are perfect for catholic weddings!

Also, daughter was married January 2019 in So OC and we LOVED all of her vendors. They were all great at what they do, super easy to get along with (an important criteria for daughter), and she comparison shopped like crazy to make her budget stretch as far as possible and thought there were each a "good value" compared to other options she looked at. If you want any recommendations, let me know. Good luck! Smiley heart

I love the first one! You are tiny, the second one, over powers you a bit, in my opinion.
    Love the veil!!!❤

I really love the first one. It flatters your figure more. Also, it's just so classy. I can visualize it at a church for sure.

You look stunning in both but I'm partial to the first one. Something about plain satin dresses is really beautiful to me.

Once you try on other dresses, it may help you figure out how you truly feel about both of them! You may have a lightbulb moment and know A or B is the one, or maybe neither?! You may find your dream dress C at the next appointment! It's all very exciting Smiley smile

This is such a hard choice! They are both pretty and look so good on you! I love the detail of the fabric in the 2nd once, but the pocked and v-cut on the 1st one are Smiley love ! You can't go wrong with either one!

Thank you see I’m conflicted....😟 I just want to look pretty for my fiancé/future hubby. He’s been my best friend since 2011 and we started dating a little over a year ago. My fiancé/future husband (James) said to me, “no “Poofy” dresses Kaitlyn.” I tried on mermaid and fit and flare and trumpet and I HATED them on me. I have a HUGE butt and very wide hips (and not sound vain) but I’m not big. I’m 5 ft 3.5 and I weigh 119 lbs. but I hated how big hips looked. HATED IT!! Like made me feel self conscious.
