Dress Problems

1) you are not a Bridezilla for this. Many people experienced this daily and especially on this day since it’s huge so of course you’d want to look your absolute best. 2) you look amazing and have worked so hard to get in the “best shape since high school” so please try to focus on the success rather than what you see as still not good enough. 3) you look amazing 🙈 (had to say that twice hahaha.) 4) I think you and your body looks absolutely fine in that dress but you need to feel comfy so I’d say maybe try some different types of shape wear. Since everyone’s body is different you may need a different type of shapewear to work for you. Also boning in my dress made such a big difference in regards to giving me shape and flattening things out. I’m considered slim but still self conscious about my stomach area at times so I get it.

I loved my dress originally and had the same problem so I ended up purchasing a second dress I extra love for the reception from Nadine Merabi

I’m totally going through this. I like my dress. Alterations are being done as we speak. I find myself comparing it. Should I try to find another. It was hard to find something to fit my body type. I’ve had so much trouble losing weight.
I know that once my hair and makeup are done, and I add my jewelry and veil to see the complete picture, I will love it.
Your groom will love you, and your dress. You’ll be fine. Don’t worry!

The detail is gorgeous! And I agree with everyone else that your ass looks great! haha. I had the same problem shopping and not feeling "perfect" in certain styles. I found the most beautiful dress and even though I did wish certain things were different about my body I know my FH loves me just this way. Im sure when you get ready that morning and your best friends and parents see you you will be SO excited and feel so beautiful. Your FH is going to think youre gorgeous and youll be so in love and caught up in the moment these little things wont matter

I think the dress is beautiful and it looks amazing on you! I personally hate spanx. I think they offer no compression at all compared to other brands. I have struggled with my self image for long time. Others say I'm gorgeous but its just hard for me to accept that. I do daily affirmations to make myself feel better.. look in the mirror and say your radiant..glowing..beautiful inside and out. Trust me this works. I had two young girls tell me I had an amazing body and I was beautiful on what I would consider my worst day..lol. just try it. Your worth it. You're beautiful. Someone wants to spend the rest of their lives with you. See yourself through their eyes and walk in it

It’s simple as this. You’re getting married because you’re in love. Your fiancé wants you now, as you are. You may look at yourself in the mirror now and negativity may flood your mind, but on the day of you won’t be thinking about how your stomach looks in the dress. You’ll be happy, and beautiful. Everyone has something they can find wrong with themselves, especially when they’re stressed about things. Don’t let this get you down!! You are worth so much more than those negative thought paint you out to be.

Personally I think your dress look amazing and I WISH I had your body.. With that being said YOU need to be the one that feels that. Good luck

You look beautiful. I'm sure your man loves your curves. I wish I had some curve to my butt. Weight loss sometimes takes some time to tighten back up. Try doing some yoga and exercises for your core. You will feel better and might lose some inches. However, you should feel beautiful without it. You look great. We are our own worst critics but others dont see you that way. Good luck.

Um, you look freaking gorgeous! I understand the way you are feeling though. My wedding is in less than 4 months and I haven't even tried my dress on since I picked it up from the shop because I'm afraid of what it's going to look like.

Keeya, all the lovely people on here have said you look beautiful in your dress, that is ABSOLUTELY true! I wanted to suggest something that may help besides shapewear, would you want maybe a little bling? My suggestion is maybe a belt that has a little bling in the middle wrapped around your waste? It can either go high right below your bust line or wrapped around your natual wasteline. This might help. What exactly besides your stomach are you not happy with? Also you look VERY beautiful in your dress! I was like stomach? What stomach? Because I couldn't find it. You are going to walk down the aisle and forget all about those thoughts because the love of your life will be smiling and be excited to spend the rest of your lives together. So you got this!
