Hi everyone, I have a quick question.. how do you know if a dress is THE dress? I love my dress, it is handmade, very lovely fit and beading, but I didn’t cry. I didn’t feel any extreme emotion. I liked the way it fit me. I feel good in the dress. It is easy to maneuver. SO how do you know??? ...

Here is a closer look at the bottom. I am quite short so they will have to take off a lot

I think you look so beautiful in your dress and I love that it's unique and doesn't look like every other dress out there. If it makes you happy, that's what matters!

Your dress is gorgeous! Not everyone cries over stuff. What I was told is you know it's the one when you don't want to take it off.

Completely agree with this! I cry at sappy commercials and I didn't shed a single tear when I found my dress. I just knew I loved wearing it and didn't want to take it off.

    This dress is absolutely stunning!

I didn't cry either. I did look at myself and go wow! But I didn't cry and neither did my mom. I guess we're not that emotional when it comes to clothing...I don't know. But I don't think that you need to cry to feel that something is made for you or that you found the one. Your dress is beautiful and looks great on you. When you know you know. Like someone else said, try not to overthink it.

I am not a crier, but I knew I found the dress when I didn't want to take it off. When I finally did take it off to try on more dresses, I immediately wanted to put it back on!

If you spend a lot of time telling people about the dress, describing it, showing pictures, thinking about it, etc. those are all good signs that this is the dress for you.

I laughed lol, but I laugh anyway when I’m nervous/emotional. I laughed because the design of the dress matches me perfectly and it broke all the rules everyone thinks they will see me in.

I cried when I tried my first wedding dress on but I wasn’t the one I ended up with. The one I fell in love with was the one I couldn’t take off and I kept staring at in the mirror over and over again.

I think it will differ for all of us. I specifically looked for my dress that I found online and when I tried it on I cried, mostly because I think with being being a 'plus-size' female I wasn't expecting to find the dress I wanted let alone that would be able to fit me. So for me it was a mixture of holy crap I feel and look beautiful, it's the dress I saw online and wanted and it fit me the way I hoped for.

I don't think you need to cry to know it's the one. If you have any question towards it or compare others to it and see yourself still wanting to look for other options it might not be the one. You could also probably just need to turn of your brain from wedding planning or thinking about it. That could help make you feel more confident that it's the one.

Also- you look STUNNING! That dress is so beautiful on you and you wear it well! Smiley heart
