Dress not done

Has anyone had the in-store alterations not get their dress done in time before their wedding?

Story in other post.

I'm getting married on Friday and picking my dress up on Monday. I couldn't get in touch with the seamstress all this week but she finally texted me yesterday about pickup. This is my second seamstress. I have a very simple dress and all I asked of the first seamstress was to hem the bottom, take up the straps and lower the back. It looked like something my aunt that sorta sews would do. So I took it to another seamstress to have the upper part of the dress worked on. She said she would work on it and have me come in for a fitting. Which she didn't. I never had a second fitting with either seamstress. So I'm going in blindly again but this time I don't have a choice.

Your seamstress has to have your dress done. I'm really sorry you're stressed.

    Hi there!

I'm sorry to hear about this situation, it's very stressful and definitely the last thing you need right now Smiley heart

Has the seamstress given you an expected timeline of when you should have the dress? Is it likely it will not be ready for June 22nd?

She said it will be done for pickup June 20th, however after every appointment she says ___ will be done by next appointment, and it's not. I have an appointment today, and another on Friday, and that's it before the pick up day.
