Hello fellow brides! I need help! My seamstress said my length was “ok” but I am starting to think it may cause me trouble when walking down the aisle or dancing! Alterations for just an inch or so would be another $350 on top of the other $700 I’ve already spent on the other alterations. (side...

Hello fellow brides! I need help! My seamstress said my length was “ok” but I am starting to think it may cause me trouble when walking down the aisle or dancing! Alterations for just an inch or so would be another $350 on top of the other $700 I’ve already spent on the other alterations. (side note, it was so pricey because I had to have someone else redo alterations from the first place I took it to, lesson learned) 😫 I’m not sure if the little bit that is dragging is worth the extra $350. When the bustle is up, it doesn’t seem too bad but when the train is down, that’s when it seems like it may be too long in the front. Is the length just right or is it too long, I can’t decide. Any Suggestions?

No problem!! I loved my dress from the start, but I didn't quite feel like a BRIDE until I had my slip and my hem done, you'll feel like a total princess!!

As a fashion designer I think the length is right, I did a bustle to one of my friends wedding dress and she had no trouble moving around. The bustle is perfect for these type of dresses, and since you already spent so much money on alterations I wouldn't worry about it as much!!

You could try to buy an underskirt with tulle so that it allows you room to walk better but that's just only if you want to spend more money!

Can u purchase higher heels? you could also put a petticoat underneat. it would add poof and bring the front up enough.

I agree with Virginia; can you just buy shoes with a slightly higher heel?
