Dress Has Arrived!

The dress boutique let me know that my dress came 2 months early and I am picking it up tomorrow. I’ll be trying it on, but I was curious if I was supposed to invite someone to go with me? I’ll be taking it to my mother’s house for safekeeping right after and so my fiancé can’t see it.

    I don’t think I’ll be bringing anyone. I want to surprise my mom the day of my wedding, my sister will be out of the country, and the rest of my bridal party lives out of town.

    I brought someone as a second set of eyes to be sure there was nothing wrong with my dress like small rips, stains, or holes. Even though it is brand new, you never know!

    When I picked up my dress, I went alone. They gave me the option of trying it on before walking out. I did try it on then inspected it myself. Bringing someone with you is not a bad idea.
