Dress fitting

Would have to see a picture of you in it to know but seems it’s suppose to be fitted around the butt

I just Googled it and it's a mermaid, so I imagine it would be fitted around the butt and flare out after. However, you can do whatever you're most comfortable with. Maybe meet with a seamstress and see if she can clip it so you can see how it looks?

Can you post a pic of the dress so we can give you proper recommendations/suggestions?

Love your dress! I have a mermaid style dress as well, and it's not fitted around the butt area as I haven't done any alterations yet. I'm getting it fit around the butt area because it just looks super baggy and unflattering right now. I think mermaid style dresses should always be tight around your butt, but that's just me!

I think it depends on the size of your hips and derriere! Haha!

I have a mermaid too, and bigger hips/butt. It's tight and it REALLY shows how big my behind is. I'm confident about my booty so it's fine with me. But it is something to consider!

Thanks y'all! I will definitely post a picture once I go to my next fitting. Well I'm a petite girl and my butt isn't flat, but if I leave loose that's what it looks like. I also don't want to be too tight where I'm sitting uncomfortably if that makes sense lol.
