Dress fitting issues

Katherine, on August 20, 2019 at 2:07 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9
I am a large busted girl, and im having a lot of trouble getting the girls to sit where they need to. Putting one of my bras in didnt work and the cups the seamstress has feel super weird, im thinking of maybe a sticky bra, but idk if that will actually hold them up. Open to suggestions. Thanks

What about a corset or boning in your dress?

I'm a DD and chose sticky bras for another event, but would not recommend them if you don't have at least some support in your dress. I would recommend leaving the cups in and using these which is what I will most likely do for my wedding. Just do your research and keep in mind they may only work once.

Following for myself, I'm going dress shopping for the first time this weekend and I'm terrified because most everything I like so far is strapless and I'm an F Smiley cry I have heard some crazy things about some of the sticky bras that are sold now, there's one I've seen on Facebook that can hold up a whole watermelon Smiley xd

Amber, something i would keep in mind is what you want to wear underneath, i have straps but no back, and im regretting it because i cant wear a regular bra, honestly i probably would have been better off with strapless with a back, but thats just me. Id recomend asking to try on different types of bras and corsets with what ever dress you like, make sure you feel supported before buying... i didnt and was thinking the fittings would make everything better... but that isnt the case for me.

Thanks for the advice Katherine! I'm definitely going to be pretty picky in the support section, my mom already thinks strapless is a horrible idea lol. While I love the way backless dresses look, it's not something I think I could pull off. I think sticky cups are your best bet with your dress! These are the kind I keep seeing everywhere https://www.amazon.com/Invisible-Backless-Nippleless-Strapless-Adhesive/dp/B07VBNSR6W/ref=zg_bs_2364768011_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=B2PSB2TGV41W53YDPRSR

Thanks! Yeah for my i have a small waist and huge hips, so honestly a strapless than hit right above my hips and had boning probably would have worked for me because my hips would hold it up. Ill look into that sticky bra, thanks!

I'm an H and adding lining to the back of my dress to be able to wear a strapless bra. I don't really have another option
