I see pictures of beautiful dresses and wedding themes and for a split second think what if... but i love my dress and can't wait to wear it. Of course I say that now, before I've been in it all day...but lets not think of that! haha

I bet yours is beautiful too and once you put it on again you'll forget all the others! Smiley smile

We all find the right one... but if I got to have 20 different weddings I know I would choose 20 different dresses! I love so many.

It's not uncommon to feel this way. The best way to get over this is not to look at any more dresses..not even in magazines. I am in the business and I have been married 42 years and I love every dress I buy for stock and would wear everyone if I had a chance! Something about your dress made you fall in love with it and I am positive you made the right choice!

I've honestly never had dress envy. i never regretted my dress or second guessed it for a second - and i bought it a year before our wedding. that said, i can understand having that feeling -- but you will be a beautiful bride!

I certainly did, anytime I saw a '30's inspired gown on wedding blogs...then I realized that my body would not work very well in those gowns, lol. I got over it rather quickly!

Thanks ladies I feel better now.FH kept reminding me how much he loves the dress. I know it is bad luck for the groom to see the dress before the wedding day he bought it so had to approve lol Her dress was lovely it had lace and bling too.

Here is a link of me in my dress:

Honestly I have never had dress envy, but I got the wedding gown of my dreams, one that I still have a heart attack over due to sticker price ($1,832.00 on sale!). So worth it though!

Edited to say your gown is GORGEOUS and you'll look absolutely stunning on your wedding day!

I think your dress is beautiful and it looks awesome on you.

I had dress envy so much that I not only exchanged my original dress, but after exchanging it, I went to a whole other boutique and put a down payment on another dress. Eventually, after buying a sash for the 2nd dress, I realized that it was exactly the look I was going for and I love it. (thankfully the $100 I put down on my almost 3rd dress I was able to use to rent my son's prom tux this year). Now everytime I look at dresses and begin to feel dress envy, I just pull up the pic of my dress, imagine it with the sash and I fall in love all over again.
