Dress Duels: Belt or No Belt?

Sinéad, on December 3, 2019 at 11:05 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 150

Do you love the extra embellishment of a bridal belt with your wedding gown? Do you not need that extra little bit of bling?

Are you on-board with the belt trend, or do you prefer the beltless look?

My dress already had some bling around the waist, but I'm typically not a fan of the belted look.

I prefer beltless generally, but I do like the option of adding a belt to a simpler dress to amp up the bling!

Even though my mom liked my dress better with the belt, I’m going without one.

Depends on the dress. Sometimes a belt can take a dress from ordinary to extraordinary.

I think it depends on the dress honestly. I prefer no belt though.

It depends on the dress. Some need a belt to add jazz but some dresses are great as is.

I generally like no belt. I won't be having a belt on mine!

Yup- depends on the dress. I would prefer without a belt but some dresses need the extra umph

No belt...I feel like belts very rarely look nice especially when they are thick. A thin blinged out belt might work but it's better to have the dress already have the sparkle on its own rather than adding a belt.

I'd say belt. Not all dresses need it but it does tend to really set some off, and it's a way to incorporate your wedding color(s).

Definitely depends on the dress. However, I'm not a huge fan of "bling", so I would default to no belt.
