Dress doesn't fit.

Well I'm about 10 days out and I just tried on my dress. Got it all the way up and it was so tight I felt like I couldn't breathe and the zipper wouldn't go all the way up. I've been so stressed out about this wedding I've been eating garbage. I'm sure it's probably too late to get it altered but...

Rush alterations. Do a cleanse. Don't put bad food in your mouth....you're on the downhill.....you can control yourself...you're almost done!!!

This isn't going to be a very popular response-- but I agree with the other posters about doing a detox/crash diet. Absolutely no alcohol, white breads, or dairy. Drink water and use a meal replacement shake for 2 of your meals a day (usually breakfast & dinner). Good luck!

I agree with the crash diet in this situation. You have also scared me and I am going home to try on my dress!

Skip the cleanse- the odds increase you give yourself the shits if you just stick to some cleanse- it's just.... not good.

You can make good decisions with carbs/veggies/meats etc without doing a cleanse.

hysterical that you post that considering your avatar and the scene from Bridesmaids where they are all shitting themselves in the expensive bridal store.

Spanx aren't going to do enough. I've been in that situation. Crash dieting may work or it may cause rebound and/or feel like crap on your wedding day. Go to a seamstress, its gonna be $$ and you'll have to get it rushed. Perhaps a seamstress can take out the zipper and put in a corset back.

    Good luck!

And nothing else changed? Like a different bra? Or putting it in yourself and not having it positioned exactly right?

Nope nothing different. I'm going braless so didn't try it on with a bra. I think my body just changes really fast. The dress fit perfectly when I got it. Then I did whole30 for about 2 whole weeks (I quit lol) and didn't lose any weight but my dress had actually gotten too big. Since then I've been eating trash. I feel like I could diet for a month then have a piece of chocolate and my whole body blows right back up.

I agree with JoRocka. Buckle down and eat clean for the remainder of time. Easy on the sugar, alcohol and carb intake and step up your cardio. If you know that you have been eating garbage, clean eating should help drop the belly bloat.

Make sure you don't drink beer and heavy alcohol this weekend. I understand the feeling of wanting to let go but just drink clear alcohol.

Go on amazon and search "waist trainer" it sucks you in like a corset and you can get one in 2 days. Also do the health stuff and call the alteration person

Go to the seamstress and get yourself on a crash diet (avoid carbs, drink lots of water). Normally I'd never recommend them, but for only 10 days you can probably manage to lose a pound or two. Also, if you've been eating a lot of crap lately you could be bloated.

What is the back like? Probably too extreme for what you need, by my seamstress told us a story about a client who got her dress way too small and (surprise) didn't lose the weight. She wound up replacing the back zipper with a lace-up/corset back with a panel, which worked.

Girl! I'm in the same position as you... except it happened a week ago and I have lost about 4-5lbs since... the dress barely zips up. You can do this!!
