I am trying not to freak out too much about our August wedding but part of me is freaking out. I was supposed to get my dress fitted last Friday but I ended up canceling because of everything going on. Well this morning I got a wild hair and decided I should try on my dress JUST IN CASE I can’t get it fitted before the wedding, I thought maybe I could possible wear it without getting it fitted. I thought very very very wrong, it’s so big like falling down big. I’ve lost 47 pounds total, but only 20 since I got my dress. I am starting to panic. 😭 Dress doesn’t fit 😭 1

I think you have plenty of time to have alterations done before your August wedding, especially if you are only tailoring and hemming the dress and not actually changing it by adding sleeves, etc. I would not freak out!

Luckily, bridal shop owner just messaged me and said as long as both of us aren’t sick she will have me come in Monday at 11:30 to take measurements 😅😬

The problem is that you won't know if either of you is contagious unless you both adhere to a strict 2 week quarantine before making contact is: have had zero contact with anyone. I'm not saying this to discourage you, but I genuinely care about everyone's health. I had covid it is no joke.

You have time , do not stress and how I see it better it’s bigger for alterations that smaller in size .....
