Dress Dilemma

These are my final two gown selections. Each very different and leaving my very torn. The ball gown gave me "the feels" when I put it on. It is simple, but I liked that about it and want to purchase an antique looking belt. However, my father thinks it looks like a prom dress and is plain, my best friends also thought it was a little plain for me (but support my choice). The lace piece, I also loved because it would compliment my body shape, wedding theme (rustic, romantic), and venue (an old cotton mill). Also, THAT TRAIN! However, no "the feels" (I still loved it though). This dress has the support of my friends and father. How would you choose?! I love them both for different reasons and will reason with myself until my edges fall out.side-by-sidecfb_1343341.jpgside-by-sidecfb_1343343.jpgexcuse my expressioncfb_1343345.jpgball gown side viewcfb_1343347.jpg

OMG! Go with the fitted lacy dress. It looks more stunning on you and you look like a bride... whereas the ball gown makes you look like you are just a guest at a wedding.

I think you already have your answer. Smiley love Go with your gut! Your wedding, you're supposed to be the most YOU version of YOURSELF as possible. The ball gown is flattering and although I personally would go for the lace, when I compare the 2 photos of you side by side, I see you shining in the gown one. Definitely go for the one you love.

I love both! I actually had this same issue and tried on the exact lace dress. The train is gorgeous!! But definitely go with the one with the feels, because it only matters how YOU feel in the dress Smiley smile

They are both beautiful but very different dresses. I'm always on Team Lace! Plus it has a vintage-y vibe to it..... 😍😍😍😍 You can't go wrong you will be gorgeous with either choice!

Girlllllll those are beautiful on you! I am also in the same dilemma! I bought a dress that I absolutely loved because of the expression of everyone else but part of me has regret bc deep down I know theirs a dress that I really loved more. But, it’s too late because I purchased it already and my mom would be so hurt she’d probably kill me too lol. But, anyways go with the one your gut is telling you to remember, your doing this once and one time only and you want look and feel beautiful. Which ever one hour going to look back and be like daaaang I still love that dress. But I am gonna say that lace was is flawless on you!! Good luck

I love the ball gown dress. It is gorgeous!!!!!! Your opinion is the only one that really matters and to have the support of your friends and family is also a wonderful thing as well.

I LOVE the lace one and it compliments your body shape beautifully (SUCH a showstopper); however, nobodys opinion should outweigh your feelings. if you feel that the ball gown is more you, then it is 100% your dress. i dont think it resembles a prom dress whatsoever- prom dress styles have shifted greatly. i think the lace dress is more casual and relaxed which, therefore, might fit the venue better but, in turn, seems more like a reception dress. the white dress screams bride to me and can be dressed up or down. on the other hand, i totally understand as i am in a similar situation where i am currently torn between two beautiful dresses. it is important for you to be comfortable and feel beautiful in whatever you choose to wear. with that being said, you are stunning in both dresses!

I personally love the lace dress. But honestly i was torn between 2 dresses and my father thought the same thing the dress i didn't get they thought was to simple and looked more like a dress i wore to another life event i had when i was younger but i cryed happy tears and had all the feels in the dress i did not get. The dress i purchased was very bling and lace and fit my body nicely i felt like a rich woman on the red carpet but i did not have the feel or the tears yet i let other people's love for that dress take over and got it now that im in altercations i keep having the feeling that i should have just purchased the other dress! My best advice is go with your gut not others opinions!

There is nothing wrong with simple! My dream gown is so simple. But I intend to accent it with hair, makeup, and make my veil the speaking piece! A simple, gorgeous gown is what will hold everything together! Your family and friends just don't see the vision yet girl! They are gonna be besides themselves when they see you in the full attire! Go with the dress that gives you the feels all the way!
