Dress Cleavage?

Mrs.Hamilton'17, on October 7, 2016 at 11:57 AM

Yesterday was my first time trying on dresses and I already found one that I love! But, my mom thinks it shows to much cleavage. What is everyone's thoughts on how much cleavage is ok?

    You look amazing.

When I was trying on dresses I was getting really sick of hearing people say "that's too much cleavage" guess what! I have big boobs! Nothing I can do about it aside from wear a turtle neck.

I suspect you may run into the same problem so I say wear whatever the hell you want and rock 'em if you got 'em.

I think it looks great. The cleavage in your picture does not look provocative. Its sexy but in a tasteful way.

I think it depends two things- your comfort level and what your fiancé thinks you look best in. You're not trying to impress your mom. But you want to look your best for your man!

I think you look amazing. you have a low cut but you are wearing long sleeves so its not like you are showing skin everywhere. It still looks classy, if you are comfortable wearing go for it!

If you're comfortable, then rock it. Yes there is cleavage but it's not obscene or even inappropriate in my opinion. You look great!

I know I have quite large boobs but I'm fine with having them out a bit. Quite frankly, when I do cover up in a turtleneck, they actually look bigger, like I'm smuggling melons, than when I allow some cleavage which lengthens the visual line and breaks up the block of boobs.

If YOU end up feeling like it's too much cleavage you could have the seamstress put a small panel in the front where it goes down!

As my great grandmother used to say: "Gotta let the ladies breathe!" Haha! But in all seriousness I think that looks fine but it depends on what your comfortable with and how YOU feel in the gown.

I had mine covered. But that's because that's what I'm comfortable with. I also had all of the bridesmaid's covered too. I am not a fan of cleavage.

But that has nothing to do with squat. That was just for my wedding. I think that dress looks lovely on you.

I think it looks amazing on you. But I wouldn't wear that low of a dress for my church wedding. My priest would literally freak.

If you don't feel comfortable in am sure they could add a little fabric to cover it some. I know my mom did that. But if you are comfortable and you love it then get it!

You could have illusion netting added into the deep v so its still sexy but a bit more modest

I think it looks great. Personally, I ended up steering away from a lower cut dress, because it was more of an issue about how my chest looked. I don't think anyone's nipples should be hanging out, but within reason, I say do what you're comfortable with. That dress looks great on you. I also feel like purposely trying to hide breasts is antiquated and adds to the body shaming most women in this world have been subjected to at one point or another.

Stunning! You look great! It shows cleavage, but with good taste, not trashy. I love the dress.
