Hi everyone! So I recently purchased a wedding dress and at the time I absolutely loved it. It’s so flattering and made me feel so amazing! But since I am such an indecisive person, mixed with the fact that it’s such a huge decision, I am worried I made the wrong choice!! Did anyone else feel this...
Hi everyone! So I recently purchased a wedding dress and at the time I absolutely loved it. It’s so flattering and made me feel so amazing! But since I am such an indecisive person, mixed with the fact that it’s such a huge decision, I am worried I made the wrong choice!! Did anyone else feel this way? I just keep looking at other dresses wishing I tried on hundreds to be able to be SURE. I’d love some opinions! I have attached pictures of the dress cfb_1354317.jpg

First things first... GIIIRRRRRL! You look STUNNING!!!!!!

I haven't bought my dress yet, but knowing me, I know I'll have to prevent myself from looking at other dresses online for that reason! I've already started filtering it out of my Pinterest feed lest I fill myself with dress envy and regret!

You are seriously radiating in that second photo! Your dress is gorgeous and already fits you so well and it hasn’t even been altered! That’s half the battle and you are already winning! The color of the dress also looks great with your skin tone. I am extremely pale and one thing I found when dress shopping is even though some undertones in dresses are popular on social media, etc., they don’t flatter every skin tone and can actually throw your coloring off. The dress you chose makes you glow!!! Trust the feeling you got that day, you had it for a reason!

I won’t lie, dress regret is real. I had it big time/still do. I told my Mom and Aunt I chose the wrong dress 10 minutes after walking out of the salon. They just told me I was crazy and the dress was fine. So I kept it and wore it because I was made to feel silly for wanting a new dress (even though that was my first and only dress appointment). I should have went shopping alone and found a new dress and didn’t. I regret that...BUT I tell you all this because you could see it in my face. All the photos of me trying on the dress at various fitting appointments showed someone who was defeated and unsure what was wrong with the dress, but knew it was something. I don’t see that in your face at all. I see someone very excited for this next step with their partner and knows their curves are being hugged in all the right ways and they look great! It’s written all over your face! There is no shame in feeling like you might be missing out on another dress, we have all been there...it’s normal, but I would be shocked If you still feel this way after your first fitting and it’s literally tailored to your measurements. Like someone else mentioned, it’s when those feelings never go away that you should probably listen to them. FYI you can ask to try on the sample of your dress whenever you feel doubt. I’m sure you will feel just as amazing in it as you did the first time! 💜
