Hey ladies! Do any of you have before and after pictures if you had alterations done to your dress? I got a really good deal on my dress for buying it off the rack, but it’s a size 20. I’m a size 16 & hoping to be a 14 by wedding time. I’m worried that the dress won’t hug my body like I want because of how much altering needs to be done.

Size 20 in bridal is more like size 16 street. With a good seamstress she’ll be able to alter. Get great undergarments and it will look great!

Hey there Have you found a seamstress to work with no your gown yet? If you're worried, I would recommend speaking with him/her about your concerns and get them addressed. They would be in the best position to advise what to expect from the finished garment.
