Dress Alterations

Dale, on October 17, 2019 at 5:08 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 3
So I am getting married on March 21st I purchased my dress from David’s Bridal trying to figure out when I should start going for alterations. Not sure about what shoes I will wear as I had an accident at home and can no longer wear the open toe heels I purchased. But don’t want to wait to long to get the dress started as I have no even tried the dress on since I purchased it back in March of this year.

Alterations should start around 2-3 months before the wedding.

Schedule the 1st appointment about 8 weeks before your wedding date. Usually, you’ll need two appointments (I was OCD and lost another 5 pounds the week of due to stress so I had three).

    Hey there, Dale!

I'm sorry to hear about your injury Smiley sad When do you think it will heal by?

As the PPs mentioned, it's recommended you schedule your first fitting to take place two to three months before your wedding day. For you, this would be the end of Dec/early Jan 2020.
