So, I got this awesome dress at the Kleinfeld pop up shop a few weeks ago - however, it was "as is" and thus needs a LOT of alterations. The salesgirl was amazing and sent me over a list of trusted Kleinfeld-approved alterations shops... but they all seem to be one-person shops. I can't find any of them on Google!

Whom do you recommend?

Have you tried reaching out to the shops that she recommended and inquiring about their services? Or were you wanting to see reviews online first?

I was hoping to find reviews or websites or some kind of ... record of their work. I do trust my contact, but there's no way to evaluate price points so far.

Unfortunately, anything outside of the NYC subway/PATH area is inaccessible to me.
Need someone specifically in the NYC/JC/Hoboken area, as I do not have a car.

That is who I'm going with. Very responsible, even provided and aporoximate cost based on a picture I emailed of me in the dress. And the reviews were great.
