Dress advice! Help lol

Allaura, on November 8, 2019 at 3:59 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 3
Ok so I’ve found a couple dresses that I would like to try on. Tristyn by Maggie Sottero and aredelle by Rebecca Ingram. The only problem is the salon i found that have them don’t have them in black which is the one I want to try one. They can order them in black but they don’t have a black one in the store. Should I still try on the white ones? I haven’t made up my mind about what color I want yet.

I would suggest going to the store and trying them on in white still. You never know how a dress will look on you until you try them on. Maybe then you will know what color to order when your try them on. Keep searching for pictures of real brides in the black color dress to get an idea of how you may look in black. Good luck! Also i know its your day and your choice but does your family know it will be black? This may cause a huge fight especially if they are old fashion and involved in the wedding planning, food for thought.

They don’t know because I don’t know if that’s what I’ll actually go with. My family knows me well enough to know that black is basically my fav color lol and it’s like all I wear. They also know that idc what they say lol and I’m going to do what I want lol 🤷🏽‍♀️ So I doubt there will be a fight. Only person I’m really worried about is my mom and even then it’s nbd.

HeyAllaura! I would definitely recommend trying on these dresses in the white so you can see how each style suits you and if you're comfortable. At this point, if you love one of them on you, you could order it in the black! Regardless of the color, the shape/fit will be the same and figuring out if you like the style on you is the first step Smiley smile
