Dream Reception Dress?

I am probably the only bride in the world who didn't like her or Megan's dress

My dream *reception* dress would have been something by Brighton Belle, by True Bride. In particular, my favorites were Bonnie and Mae. Unfortunately for me, True Bride is a UK brand, and these dresses are very hard to find in the US.

I swooned over these two for SO LONG and did everything I possibly could to come by one in my size and budget. StillWhite, eBay UK, you name it. It got to where I changed my location on Facebook Marketplace to be various places in the UK and was messaging people to ask if they'd be willing to ship their dress to the States if I paid postage. Unfortunately, between the cost of the dress - new, they are the same as a floor-length gown - and the exchange rate from pounds to dollars, I was looking at spending over $600 before any alterations were even done, and I just could not spend that much especially to take a gamble on a dress I'd never tried on.

I ended up buying the dress below from a StillWhite seller in the US, for $250 including shipping. I am hoping my seamstress can work some magic on the neckline as it had been butchered a little, and hopefully add some lace. It's not THE dress I pictured/wanted, but it was available and in my budget so hopefully it will be lovely nonetheless!
