Downsizing

I'd avoid doing this. Any gathering at all with people outside of your home could spread the virus, and it looks like June is still going to fall into an "at-risk month" category. You can definitely still get married if you're able to safely obtain a marriage license and have someone officiate over video chat (and maybe have some family members tune in for the ceremony), then have a reception with your original guest count later in the year or next year--definitely the safest bet to plan for.

I'm supposed to get married June 13, but we're downsizing, moving it to my fiance's parents' farm, and moving it a few weeks to the end of July. We thought June won't be suitable for a large wedding (especially with 3/4 of the guest list traveling internationally and domestically to attend), and we even think July may be too soon for so much travel. We're cutting down from 185 invited to 56 invited (knowing a few won't come bringing us below 50 in attendance).

This is definitely a crazy stressful and uncertain time for everyone! It seems like a lot of June brides are waiting a few more weeks before making postponement decisions, but everyone's situation is different and it never hurts to be proactive about plan b!
