Double Ceremonies?

Is anyone else doing two ceremonies on their actual wedding day? My fiance is half Lao and Thai and Chinese, and since I am not a very religious person I had agreed to do a traditional Lao ceremony as well as a traditional ceremony. Two wedding dresses in one day! Its a girls dream!

Very common in Asian culture!
I skipped that though aha. But I've many friends who did two tea ceremonies And a traditional church ceremony.

I didn't want people to have to worry about two ceremonies so we are doing both parts during the ceremony and staying in Indian clothes for the Christian vows. I'm excited nonetheless!

Would love to hear your wedding logistics! I’m Lao-Vietnamese and my fiancé is Chinese and plan to do baci/sukwan and tea ceremony. We’re not planning yet but want to keep some planning tips handy for when we do.

Hi!
I know for the most part we are letting my in laws do the planning for Lao ceremony since they know more about it and what we will need. The we are doing our traditional ceremony after. This is what we have planned so far but I am sure I will know more into details when it gets closer to the date 😁
