Donut wall

Anyone already had their reception or wedding with a donut wall or planning to do one? We're planning on having a sweet shop at our reception with a donut wall, cookies, mini cupcakes and a cake. I want to know how your donut wall went, if people ate from it or treated it more like it was a display?...

I'm trying to figure out how many donuts to order but I've never done a donut wall before!

I love the idea of donuts as part of a sweets table. I would stick with just a donut initial on the wall, though. There are plenty of attractive (& foodsafe) ways to display the ones your guests will eat.
