Donut Bar!

Who is having a donut bar? How many guests are you having and how many donuts are you getting? We are thinking about having them as a snack before dinner starts, but can’t decide if we should get 80 donuts (1 per guest) less or more?

I'm having a donut bar instead of cake. We're ordering two donuts per person, and considering an assortment of donut holes as well. We will have take-home bags for the donuts that don't find a home in someone's belly during the reception.

We have a venue that makes amazing apple cider donuts, which they sell during pumpkin picking season! We are going to use them as favors, and are doing about 2 per guest because we don't mind having too many leftovers!

We aren't doing donuts, but I love the idea! I would be really excited to see this at a wedding!

FH and I are doing a donut bar instead of cake. I don't like cake and FH doesn't care much of it, so we decided to do a donut bar instead. We are having 50 guests and are ordering 135 donuts - 90 of which will be assorted specialty donuts. The other 45 donuts will be donut holes.

Yup, we are doing donuts instead of cake for guests. We ordered 10 dozen donuts (120) for 99 guests. And then we are ordering 300 donut holes as well. So a little more than one regular donut per person and about 3 donut holes per person :-) And the donut holes will be filled with chocolate, custard and raspberry filling!

I love the donut tower idea! We just got our quote back though and we think we might be being over charged. If anyone is comfortable sharing how much they paid for their donuts, so I can compare prices I would be so grateful!!!

    Thanks!

Hi, Hannah! How are you displaying your donuts? We have 160 donuts- about 24 of each flavor (6 flavors). I have been looking for 6 cake stands to put each flavor on its own stand, but I am not finding anything reasonably priced!

Hi! My FH is making me a donut wall, that will hopefully hold the 75 donuts we will have that have holes in them, obviously. As for the other flavors, we will have a couple of cake stands and serving trays (For the different heights) with the rest of the donuts stacked on them neatly. If there is still left overs, I will probably assign someone throughout the night to "refill" the trays and have the leftovers under the table on a crate or something. Here my two Inspo pics!
