Don't know where to get ready

Yesica, on February 12, 2020 at 9:09 AM Posted in Planning 0 14

Not sure where I want to get ready. My apartment is small and I will have all the girls there should I rent a hotel room to get ready? My husband will probably get ready at our apartment or in laws. I really don't want to get ready at my sisters house.

I would get a hotel room if your venue doesn't have a bridal suite/getting ready space.

If the venue does not have a room for you then I would do a nice hotel (not expensive but nice if you want getting ready pics) that was my plan but my venue has a room to get ready.

I rented a house for myself and my bridesmaids! They are all out of town so we have a place we can all be together! The boys are getting ready in our small apartment because they don’t really need too much!

My venue does have bridal suite. However the actual ceremony will take place in a church so we need pictures before the actual reception.

How far is your venue from the church where the ceremony is? You could get ready there if it's close.

My venue asks that I come ready (kind of an inconvenience) but we're getting a hotel for the night-of anyway so I'm going to request an early check-in and get ready there!

My venue has a bridal suite, but it is a little on the smaller side so my 2 bridesmaids, Mom, and I will be getting a room at the hotel that is literally 1 minute away. We'll get our makeup and hair done there, and then get dressed/do the finishing touches in the bridal suite. My FH and the boys will be getting ready at our house which is 15 minutes away from the venue. You should do whatever makes sense and is most comfortable for you.

I've seen some people get ready in a hotel room especially if you want getting ready photos that looks nicer

You, your mom and your made of honor should get ready together in a hotel. Let your fiance get ready in the apartment. The other ladies should come dressed and meet you at the hotel AFTER you area ready for photos. If they are getting hair and make up done, let them plan on another hotel room. Too much traffic, noise and drama on your wedding day will be upsetting and nerve wrecking. Do yourself a favor and be relaxed and enjoy that time. Get your hair done at a salon that morning, make up at your hotel room, ladies can meet you after for a toast and photos from photographer. Believe me, you will feel fantastic doing it this way. If you want the option of staying overnight with hubby, then you've got your room!

Our venue doesn’t have a bridal suite and I didn’t want to get ready at home either. The hotels were kinda pricey but we ended up booking an air bnb cute little house. It was 70$ a night. I’ll be spending the night there the day before I won’t see my FH and then we will be staying there for two nights after the wedding before leaving on ur honeymoon. Its also only ten mins away from the venue!

I would get a hotel room or Airbnb close by to get ready at.

I'd get a hotel room or a VRBO nearby!

Do a hotel room. More plugs, natural lighting. You dont really have to wipe down when your done. I got a king with sofa bed, so there's plenty places to sit and a chair for makeup
