Don’t Feel Like a Bride

It's very modern, and the dress by itself isn't super bridal to me either. But, with a veil, hair accessories, and your bouquet, I think that'll change. It really is a beautiful dress though, and you're rockin' it. Sometimes it really has to do with how you see yourself too. Just get in that bridal mindset, and get that bridal vision going.

It’s modern and not typical so I think that’s why, which is not a bad thing! I bet you will feel like one when your hair and makeup is done!

This is exactly how I felt when I did my first fitting of the dress. At the time there was another bride in the salon and she was crying at how happy she felt and I felt like something was wrong with me that I didnt have that emotion but everyone is different i feel. You look beautiful in your dress and I am sure that on the day the emotions will come.

Agreed, I'm not modern at all. I loved the crepe fabric though when I tried it on! Very comfy, stretchy, and doesn't seem to wrinkle very easily which is nice. But wasn't my style.

The dress is beautiful and so are you. Just remember, you make the dress, it doesn't make you.

I get what you’re saying. I didn’t feel like a bride either, once I put my my hair clip in, veil, and jewelry in together to see how it would look, it gave me the all the bride feels. You will feel like a bride once all of your attire comes together.

Do you feel that way? Before I leave the store , I would have them putting on the veil, earrings, heels, etc...to see how you feel.

Going through a similar thing and my wedding is in 10 days. I originally wanted to wear my natural curly hair but it’s my everyday style so I think that may be why I’m struggling to feel like a bride. I still want to look like me and be recognizable but not overdo it where I feel self conscious you know?

It happens but once everything comes together you'll have a different opinion. I had to add a Bling belt to my dress to give it the feel of the perfect dress. My veil brought it altogether. You look amazing.

I completely felt this way about my first down and because of it I went and bought a new one. I didnt like that I wasnt feeling that Bride magic when I wore it, but when I got the dress I knew I had made the right call.
