Doing my own makeup

Honestly I think it looks great!!!! I totally understand where you’re coming from but I definitely would consider making sure your make up will last, work with the lighting of the venue and for pictures !

Yes Yes! You look gorgeous and I know you will be even more stunning on the wedding day! Maybe just do a trial with palette you plan to use,? I heard a great tip from a MUA that said she always does her trials and actual day of looks slightly different for maximum wow effect. So if you go out or on a date or wherever with this look, it won't be a total redo that he's seen before. If that makes sense?

I'm doing my own make-up, too. I just plan on practicing it a few times before the big day and testing it's longevity. But, like you said, I always do my make up for events and I always get compliments. I really enjoy doing my makeup and I'm not a fan of others doing it.

Actually you do a really great job. I am still going to meet (even though I keep pushing the date up lol) with a professional MUA so she can show me some good tips. I am almost considering doing my own make up because I am going a venue outside of the Tampa Bay area and on a Sunday. I do not have time to do make up and hair there at the venue and many people either travel, charge $200 plus which I kind of don't want to spend or are unavailable Tuesday. I am already going to spend a good chunk on hair getting extensions in then paying to get it styled unless my hair dress is open Sundays but even then hair alone will cost a lot (black women hair problems!). I think your make up looks flawless so go for it.

Very beautiful! Your makeup looks gorgeous! I have no idea how to do my own makeup and it already looks like a professional did yours! Doing your own makeup on your wedding day could save you a decent amount of money to go towards something else for sure.

I've paid others t do mine before and was unimpressed. I looked at myself and thought "I could of done this". I like to watch YouTube tutorials and practice.
