Doily Ideas!!

So my great grandmother made a ton of doilys before she passed away. I definitely want to use them as centerpieces for my reception tables. I just need help on how!! Originally I thought of having mismatched teapots for flowers & candles and then having a strand of pearls draped around, kinda like the picture except a doily rather than the plate. Which is super cute, but my venue is a little more formal? I’m open to all ideas.

    I like your idea! How many do you have? I have seen people make awesome table runners out of doilies. If you dont have that many (or the time) maybe put on a table runner and then the doilie and the china?

    I have a ton!! Definitely enough for each table. I have doily runners too & a round doily table cloth so that one will be used for my cake. I guess I’m just thinking of alternatives for the teapots. Just some ideas on what to put flowers in to dress it up some!

    I like the tea pot personally. Old jewelry box? Gold candelabras/candle sticks?
    To be honest, no one really notices your centerpieces. I worked so hard on mine and really they arent the focus that brides think they are.
    I'd make the doilies the focus.

    Instead of china teapots, you could use silver- both teapots and coffee pots.

    Great idea. You could maybe rent them? Is there a tea room in our town you could borrow them from? Sometimes hotels have these. Estate sales? Etsy? Fb marketplace?

    Craigslist, www.searchtempest.com, Facebook Marketplace, local Bride to Bride and Buy and Sell Facebook pages. Our grandmothers loved these things but you almost can't give them away today.
