Does your veil have a plastic or metal comb?

Thecane428, on August 25, 2014 at 9:07 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4

The makeup/hairstylist i plan on using mentioned obtaining a veil with a metal comb because its somehow easier as well to remove. I dont see the big deal maybe someone can explain it to me here. Thanks!

Mine is metal. I think its smoother, so your hair won't snag as much on it. Besides that, metal combs are stronger and less likely to have teeth snap off.

Mine is metal too. I would also say with plastic the teeth may break. I know I wouldn't want to chance that. And if the plastic isn't smooth your hair could get snagged on it

Mine was plastic. It kept my chapel length veil secure (even in the wind!), and I didn't have any trouble removing it after the ceremony.

Mine was plastic. Metal combs hurt my scalp. My hair stylist secured it with bobby pins, which were a pain to remove, but I didn't have to worry about my veil flying away.
