So my dress is vanilla and champagne, so we knew that FH would need to wear an off white or ivory shirt to make sure pictures work....but I don’t like the way the off white and ivory shirts look with his navy suit.

He bought this shirt for our engagement shoot and I fell IN LOVE, does this work for the wedding day???
We don’t have a bridal party, our kids are wearing navy and light pink/blush, and those are our wedding colors too.

I am not a fan of the shirt tie combo. Your dress is fine. I think it needs to be simpler to not compete with the dress and compliment it instead.

What about a light blue shirt and Navy tie combo in solid colors. It's easy to find and goes with the dress and incorporates the wedding colors.

Maybe a champagne colored tie? That shirt color could work but the pattern clashes with the dress

Something to reconsider... Just because your dress isn’t white doesn’t mean your FH can’t have a white shirt. If you’re concerned about pics, then white will be much better than the multi-color shirt.

I think you could do a white shirt since your dress is so far from white. But I do like the idea of a colored shirt! Maybe put him also in blush?

It’s a little bit busy for me personally. Does he just love the fit of the shirt? Could you see if that brand just makes a white shirt? But I also agree with everyone else in that I would at least do a different tie!

I think the shirt is fun! I don't love the tie with it for a wedding, I agree with the past posters, I think a navy tie would look best!

I appreciate everything that you guys said and I am definitely not offended in the slightest!! After looking more at the picture and talking, we both decided that the tie being shiny and SO pink just didn't work!
We are on the hunt now for a plain shirt with a more linen texture tie that doesn't have the sheen.
