Does registry Info go on the details sheet of an invitation suite?

Alejandra, on January 3, 2020 at 8:14 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 7
Hi all, I know no mention of the registry or presents goes on the invitation itself. We are including a details page for our hotel room block and I was wondering if that’s where we can include info on our registry. We’ll also be including a wedding website but I don’t want that to be the only source of info since I know we have some older family that doesn’t necessarily enjoy that. Thoughts? We have some time, I’m just curious.

Registry information shouldn't go anywhere on the invitation. If guests don't know how/don't want to access your wedding website, they will just ask where you're registered.

Yes, you absolutely could put it on the bottom of the sheet that has the hotel block info. Just add the link to your website and registry at the bottom, I’ve seen so many people do this and it’s helpful. 😄

I preferred not to have our registry information anywhere other than on our wedding website but personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with including it on a details card as long as it's not on the invite itself. My thought process is "what did we do before wedding websites?". Plus you know your crowd better than we do!

We had a line on our details card that read....

    FOR ACCOMMODATIONS, REGISTRY AND ADDITIONAL

INFORMATION, PLEASE VISIT OUR WEDDING WEBSITE

I only put registry information on the website. I figured anyone that wouldn’t naturally look there would just ask mr

Exactly this. We only have our registry listed on our website and will verbally tell people if they ask.

I've never seen registry information on a wedding invitation, only a bridal shower or couple's shower invitation. Typically the website is listed either on the back of the invite, an additional details card, or the RSVP card and people know to find the registry there. That's what we did and everyone found our registry or just gave us cash.
