Does everyone have dress doubts at one time or another?

I've loved the dress since the day I found it online, then received it and fell in love again. Now I'm having second thoughts, does this happen to everyone? Lol. I think once hair/makeup and elaborate earrings etc are added that I'll feel like a bride. We are having a beach wedding (setup in comment) and this is truly what I envision but it's hard when you don't look like the model in the dress photo lol. It's also really big so I'm thinking once the 2 feet of extra length (I'm standing on a chair lol) is removed and the top is taken in 2 sizes I'll feel better! My bridesmaids all love it (but I doubt they'd tell me they hated it) my Fmil first reaction though was bluntly telling me it wasn't her favorite

I have been kind of questioning my choice since it isn't super "traditional," but one of my friends made the sassy comment of "You picked your life partner and stopped looking and questioning once you found him. If you can do that with a human that you will ideally spend decades with, why can't you do it with a dress you will wear for eight hours?" Shut me right up! Haha

Haha kia9 great way to put it!! I guess I honestly just needed to hear from others that it wasn't ugly lol. I try it on multiple times a day so I think I'm just starting to get knit picky. Overall I do believe it's the dress for me... but I'm also the type who would probably choose to have 2 dresses to wear, that way I don't miss out on one aspect of the dress (lace, being etc lol)

I think your dress is gorgeous - the back is so beautiful! Your FH is marrying you, not the dress, so I'm sure he'll be just as happy to see you in this as in any another dress. If you love it, that's all that matters, don't listen to other people, not their big day!

I have to say that I have not had any dress regrets since purchasing mine...but I also went to like 437346 salons before I made the decision and slept on my choice for a couple of weeks, just to make sure it was the one.

I just have to say thank you to the pp who said to envision the dress you have with all the accessories. I had a bit of dress regret...wondering if I should have gone with a couple other specific (but totally different silhouettes) dresses I've seen online. Then I tried picturing those other dresses with the accessories I picked out and love...and they definitely don't go. My accessories complete the look and tie it in with all the wedding decor.

For the record, I love your dress, OP. I didn't see BHLDN before I found my dress at David's Bridal, but I love all the dresses on that site. I think it will look fantastic on the beach with that ceremony set up.
