Does everyone have dress doubts at one time or another?

I am having 2nd thoughts. I ordered mine and it hasn't come in yet but now I keep looking at the pics and am stressing I made the wrobg choice. I think it's a natural reaction. You only have 1 chance to get it perfect and there are so many dresses. But the dress is beautiful so I think you nailed it!!

Grr I know!! I couldn't picture myself in white and went try on dresses at 2 places before I went ahead and just ordered from BHLDN. I guess I'm mainly having second thoughts because I just didn't try many on lol and the experience I had at those 2 shops were NOT what I was expecting at all... it definitely wasn't a "say yes to the dress" experience lol

I think the dress is beautiful and looks great on you. If you want an honest opinion though, it wouldn't be my first choice a beach wedding though. However, your hair, makeup and accessories will help to make the look work with your setting. But, again it's a beautiful dress and it looks amazing on you. And I also had dress regret. I purchased a dress off the rack at a sample sale and felt unsure about it. I ended up buying another dress and plan on wearing or at least taking photos in both. If your reception will be on the beach maybe consider an outfit change for a more beach inspired look (i.e. simple strapless flowy silk gown) which is something you shouldn't have to spend a fortune on.

It's beautiful. A little suggestion I think putting a little bit fluffier petticoat will give it a gorgeous flair. I think sleeves are so sweet and elegant. Btw I've felt the same way for a year but every time I put my dress on I know I choose the perfect one for me.

I'm also having the same problem the dress is beautiful on and off me. But I feel like I made the wrong decision too. By the way I love your dress!

Yes! I honestly feel like this is so much more common than any of us think. I went back and forth with my dress and actually went as far as cancelled my order and then redid it a week later after thinking I made the wrong decision. Yours is beautiful and try not to overthink it!!

Thanks he's a trip! This is the back of the "topper" which is the whole reason I was drawn to wearing the topper. I'm not usually one to want to cover EVERYTHING up but I think a big part is I'm still self concious about the baby weight I have yet to use... prebaby me would totally be in something more "sexy" lol.. I can't do a peticoat because it Wil be entirely too hot lol (beach wedding in June eekk)

You look great no need to be self-conscious. FH obviously loves you and the way you look. You'll rock your final look.

I'm so worried I picked the wrong dress that I'm having anxiety about going for my first alterations. Sigh. I think it's all part of the process and at least it has made me feel much better knowing it happens to a lot of us! I think your dress is really pretty and I love the topper! (Wish I had gone that route instead of paying to add sleeves)

Love the dress! You're going to look beautiful. I purchased my dress the first day I went dress shopping. Before I had my alterations appointment I questioned whether or not I chose the right dress and if I should have gone to more stores. At one point I was nervous about the style (strapless mermaid) freaking out about whether or not I'd be comfortable or able to dance. After I got it altered and fitted to me, I fell in love all over again! Not a doubt in my mind now!

I have definitely had second thoughts! But it's ordered and hanging in my closet now, so no going back! At the end of the day, there will always be more beautiful dresses, but I'll look amazing in mine and that is all that matters.

Honestly, judging by the photos you've shared, this is going to be gorgeous!

I haven't had second thoughts, I doubt I will. I bought my dress in January, getting married in October. I bought it off the rack, so I was able to bring it home when I bought it. Admittedly, I have "tried it on" a few times and every time it has put a smile on my face.

I love this dress.... the back is Beautiful.....

Honestly I have and always have had dress regret.... But what can i do... its paid for and FH would KILL me if i got another gown.... I love my gown its just sooo heavy (especially for a hot summer wedding day) and Im not sure if i didnt make a mistake....

But its what im wearing regardless....

I did. But once I added all the accessories, I fell more in love with it, and the complete look.

Your dress is beautiful, and perfect for your setting! I've learned to screw what other people think. Everyone likes different things.
