Does anyone else obsessively check the weather forecast?

Katey W, on August 18, 2011 at 1:49 PM Posted in Planning 0 6

We're 9 days out now, and every morning I check the extended forecast. For the past 5 days it has been predicting sun one day and rain the next! All our festivities will be indoors, but boy, I'd love for it to be a gorgeous day!

And if it does rain - any tips or things you wish you would have thought of/been prepared for?

Not yet, but I will!! If yours is indoors you just need an umbrella if necessary (perhaps shoes to get you inside). Consider extra hairspray if it gets humid? That's the bonus of having everything indoors, so don't worry Smiley smile I have backup tents in case it rains and doesn't stop.

Yes!!! I look at everything....the farmers almanac, etc etc.

I hope there's not a blizzard, otherwise we are screwed.

I obsessively check the extended forecast for anything fun/travel-ish we do! I'm sure I'll do the same and have nothing but the weather channel on the week of, making FH none-too-happy! lol

I keep checking the weather history (like it's going to change) lol and I know when next yr gets here I'll prob go sit at the news station and read the radars myself. I don't blame anyone for double and triple checkin this is a big deal!!!

Lol at checking the weather history! My best friend got married last October 15th - the weather was mid 60s and gorgeous - the previous year on October 15th we had 6 inches of snow, yikes! Here's hoping that doesn't happen to anyone that isn't expecting it Smiley smile

    I know accuweather.com has a 15 day extended forecast.

While all our festivities are indoors, we're really hoping to do some outdoor photos around the barn where we're having the reception - there are such lovely locations!

Best wedding weather wishes to you all!
