Does anyone else feel anxiety/dread when they think of their wedding day?

I know that sounds awful. But as I'm more of an introverted person, I am actually not that excited about my wedding day. I'm so happy to be marrying my fiance, I love him very much and can't wait to be his wife, but I don't look forward to being the center of attention. I'm feeling kinda blah and...

I know that sounds awful. But as I'm more of an introverted person, I am actually not that excited about my wedding day. I'm so happy to be marrying my fiance, I love him very much and can't wait to be his wife, but I don't look forward to being the center of attention. I'm feeling kinda blah and the wedding is only a few days away ... also pmsing so that doesn't help! I dreaded both my wedding showers too but ended up having a good time. I guess I'm just looking for advice from other brides who are introverts and/or feel anxiety when thinking about standing up in front of a large group of guests. I honestly am worried I'm going to have a panic attack and black out.

I have severe anxiety issues and so does DH. So I definitely felt the same way. My doctor gave me Xanax and I took it every day for almost 2 months before the wedding. But wedding day- it alllll faded away and I just felt surrounded by love and comfort and happy!

I have panic & anxiety disorder and im worried about my wedding day. One thing i was told to do when im having an attack is to distract myself. Not sure how im gonna do that on the big day but i keep telling myself how lucky i am to be marrying my FH. I think once the day starts and ur walking down the aisle u will be ok. If ur feeling anxious during the reception take a couple mins with ur spouse away from everyone, whether its outside or in an office.

ETA: I have a RX for lorazepam that im sure i will be taking the night before. Also, do some deep breathing when ur anxious. It can really help. Good luck, im sure u will do great!

I'm with you!!! I will have owned a house with my fiance for 2 years just a few days after we get married. It feels like we are anyway but I am excited to make it official. However, I'm DREADING my wedding. I'm so anxious about what could go wrong, or what people will think. It keeps me up at night! I'm an attorney so I'm used to standing in front of groups of people and talking but the thought of doing it at my wedding has my stomach in knots.

Just know you are totally not alone.
