Do you love or hate October weddings in Mississippi?

I have not been to Mississippi (which is weird since my mother was born there) but I love October weddings. My sister got married in October and the weather was beautiful. October is one of the most popular months to get married!

Jo, I'm praying for the same type of weather. My Dad especially is having a fit because it's hurricane season! Lol! It's hurricane season half of the year. Yes! We didn't know October had become such a popular month! I was told in Mississippi, May & October are the most popular months. I've been ill and we don't have a venue yet. We're set for October 13th and hoping for that nice fall weather! I haven't lived in MS the past 7 years but we visit every year and we're having our wedding there where most of my family and old friends still are. I do have a backup plan to be inside if it turns out to be a rainy/windy day, though.

Hi Erika! I'm sure your wedding will be gorgeous!! We had wanted the 13th, but the Canton Flea Market stopped that day right away. Ha! Ha! No hotels for our guests.
