So I was just leaving a comment on someone's post and I said that I wasn't going to have a ceremony rehearsal. Now that I'm thinking about it. I am a bit nervous not having one. So I was just leaving a comment on someone's post and I said that I wasn't going to have a ceremony rehearsal. Now that I'm thinking about it. I am a bit nervous not having one. Our venue will charge us $300 for an hour for the rehearsal. That's just not in the budget. So I was thinking I would take the two outside vendors to the ceremony site and just show them where the site is. My photographer and the officiant are the only two outside vendors I have, and the photographers have already been there before. Everything else is through the Ceremony vendors. So I would just show them where it is and that way they can see what we will be working with. Then we can just create our own rehearsal. I mean it really can't be that hard right. I mean we can just plan out every little thing and it should be okay...right? lol Has anyone else nixed the rehearsal. If so how did it go? Or any thoughts?

Maybe your officiant can take a trip to the venue with you to 'visit'. take pictures of the layout, etc. Then he'll know how it's laid out and you can have the rehearsal anywhere you want... but with instructions on where to stand, etc using the pics as a guide. I'd pass on the $300 too!
