Do you have balls?

I have balls in the inside of my engagement ring to make my ring more secure on my finger and keeps it from sliding around as well since the size of my ring is a little big. I got used to them and don't even feel them anymore. I like them because it leaves enough room for when my finger swells when it's hot out. My friends recommend that I get my wedding band sized to my true ring size instead of getting balls again, but I was thinking that maybe I would get the same size as my engagement ring and get balls in it so that it would give me room yet still be secure. I'm not sure what to do. Does anyone else have these balls in your ring? What would you do?

@Alicia when my FH and I went ring shopping Dec '16 I was sized as a 9 but because I lost weight when he proposed in May my ring fit but slid around because I was somewhere in between 8.5 and 9. So I got the sizing beads. (Balls sound so much better lol)

I have a sizing bar in my e-ring which balances out the weight of the diamond nicely. I got my wedding ring sized down and love how it fits and feels light.

I just want to say I love everything about this and I'll be asking my jeweler for my own set of balls.

Ok, everyone remember that big, brass balls are the best. They may cost more, but they can take a lot of abuse.

Why not just get the rings resized? I have never seen or heard of this and can't see the point? But if you love it keep it up!

@Ciera R. For me I wanted my e-ring to not spin as much so it balanced out the weight of the diamond. Obvi the wedding ring doesn't have that issue so getting it sized down was the better choice.

I really did consider getting some balls of my own when I first got my ring. But my ring just doesn't spin enough for me to bother getting them. There's a tiny gap between my ring and my finger when I close my fist, but since it doesn't spin or slide off my finger, not worth it to me Smiley smile

I don't have balls currently, but they were offered to me. My e-ring is probably .5+ size too big and often spins completely around my finger/upside down; I'm just not crazy about the idea of sizing it down altogether. Would you recommend the balls only if the issue was a spinning/top-heavy ring, too big of a size, or either?

@Jay hahaha @Ashli I would recommend them for either of those reasons. My jeweler said that the balls come in all different sizes so if your ring fit but it was spinning he could put smaller ones in to anchor it. I felt it at the beginning but don't even know they are there now. That's why I am debating them for the band. In my band my diamonds go half way around, and I have seen on my sister in law that her ring spins even though she got her band a half size smaller to fit her more snug.

@Ashli - that's exactly the reason I got them. I felt that the spinning drove me more crazy than being 1/4 size too big. The beads actually took care of both problems. I barely feel them anymore!
