Do we have to register at more than one store?

Generally it's nice to give people a couple different options on where to shop. But, you don't have to. Just make sure if you pick only store, that they have locations within shopping distance of all your guests, and preferably that they have both online and in person shopping options.

Just one is fine, but I agree make sure they can shop online and in store, and that there's lots of locations. Also, make sure you register for things in lots of different price points.

I think it's okay if it is a store that has a lot of variety and is convenient for all of your guests. You want to make sure to have lots of things that are at different price ranges.

If you know that the store is in most towns or cities, then I think its perfectly acceptable to just register one place. However, for people who prefer to go into the store to physically purchase a gift, it's good to have a couple stores for them to pick from in case there's not a specific store near them.

I registered at one store. It was Macy's, which has lots of locations and in store/online shopping options like the other girls suggested. It worked out pretty well. We registered for everything we needed/wanted and almost everything was purchased! (I cheated and peaked at the registry a few times about two weeks before my shower, which was a few weekends ago.)

We only registered at Target. It was a convenient location for all of our guests. We also had a smaller wedding, so we didn't feel the need to go overboard with the registry.
