Do we have to leave our reception after our sparkler photos?

I was planning on a sparkler send off. We only have our photographer for 10 hours so we will have to do it early at 9:45 but our reception doesn't end until 11. Would it be dumb if we didn't leave after the sparkler pictures and stayed until the end of our reception? Or do we have to leave?

    We are doing an exit from the ceremony with rose petals, so it will be done as we walk out after the ceremony, before leaving for the reception. If your ceremony was late enough this could work, but it sounds like you're doing to have a daylight ceremony.
